Sewage Pumping Station (SPS)
Bioxica provides a full range of services in the manufacture of sewage pumping stations, which include calculation, design, manufacture and supply of highly reliable SPS.
In order to begin, it is necessary to obtain accurate information from the client about the volume and flow of wastewater, the desired pressure at the outlet of the SPS, the depth, the diameter of the inlet pipeline, etc.
Thereafter, Bioxica’s specialists provide the calculations for the SPS design, considering all of the parameters.
In the manufacture of SPS, only the latest technologies and materials are used. At all stages of work, particular attention is paid to the quality of the product.
The SPS are supplied to the construction site fully prefabricated. This significantly reduces the time and construction costs, installation and commissioning, and puts the SPS into operation in a short time.

A sewage pumping station (SPS) is a complex of structures and equipment for pumping wastewater.
The casing of the SPS is a cross-sectional rectangular or circular sealed container which is made of materials that do not corrode and decay, or have been processed with materials which provide corrosion protection.
Different materials are used to produce the casing, such as:
- Metal;
- Plastic;
- Reinforced concrete.
A special pump and accessories are placed in the SPS: internal piping, submersible pumps, connecting pipes, and valves.
The SPS operates in automatic mode and is equipped with an automation and control cabinet.
The pumping of sewage is carried out by submersible sewage pumps, which are lowered into the tank using the guides.
SPS turns on and off depending on water level in the receiving tank; the signals are float level sensors.
The automation system of the SPS will extend the life of the pump equipment. The SPS is installed vertically on a prepared concrete foundation.
Selection of the SPS depends on the amount of wastewater that flows to the pumping station and the distance of transportation; depth of the supply reservoir; type of fluid; hydrogeological conditions; type of pump and control method.

Metal sludge pits are steel containers of various sizes and configurations, usually recessed into the ground and equipped with two mouths for ventilation and auditing. For this purpose, there is a ladder in one of the mouths. The container is made of carbon steel, protected against corrosion by coating on both sides with anticorrosive materials.
The sludge pit is installed on a prepared reinforced concrete foundation.
Fiberglass sludge pits are durable, resistant, and perfect for any complex service conditions.
They do not corrode and do not require waterproofing, have a long service life, and are resistant to temperature and chemical wear. They are easy to transport and install.

The tank is installed in the foundation pit. Due to its light weight, tie belts made of synthetic non-elastic materials are set. This prevents displacement during backfilling and under the influence of surfacing groundwater
Tie belts are installed by fixing the sludge pit tank through special lugs, situated on the pre-erected reinforced concrete plate. This plate is usually made of monolithic concrete.
The concrete sewage pumping station (SPS) is constructed directly on the site. The housing of the pumping stations can be built of reinforced concrete rings. Production of reinforced concrete housing can significantly reduce the cost of construction, and its large mass protects the station from surfacing with high groundwater level.
During construction of the concrete SPS, the ring joints, pipeline inlets, and the entire structure as a whole are waterproofed.
However, concrete SPS are rarely constructed due to the relative labor intensity and significant construction time compared to plastic and metal SPS, delivered to the site, usually fully prefabricated.
